The genomic analyses also showed that humans and chimps appear to have accumulated more potentially deleterious mutations in their genomes over the course of evolution than rodents.

While such mutations can cause diseases that may erode a species' overall fitness, they may have also made primates more adaptable to rapid environmental changes and enabled them to achieve unique evolutionary adaptations, the researchers said.

More than 50 genes present in the human genome are missing or partially deleted from the chimp genome.

Three key genes involved in inflammation appear to be deleted in the chimp genome, possibly explaining some of the known differences between chimps and humans in respect to immune and inflammatory response.

On the other hand, humans appear to have lost the function of the caspase-12 gene, which produces an enzyme that may help protect animals against Alzheimer's disease.

The researchers also scanned the entire human genome for deviations from normal mutation patterns. Such deviations may reveal regions of "selective sweeps," which occur when a mutation arises in a population and is so advantageous that it spreads throughout the population within a few hundred generations and eventually becomes normal.

                                                     ALTERNATE FUTURE

Why is it the more developed a country one lives in, the more pessimistic he tends to feel about the future?  Although the developing countries still feel very optimistic about their futures, their futures are just the present of the developed countries.  In short, as time goes on, the outlook on our future will get dimmer.  It is safe to predict that we will eventually have no future to look forward to, if we keep going down the present course.  An alternative future could be achieved by reverting back to the Eastern approach of breeding a better future generations of human beings.

Maddog Hitler's failure in his breeding of a master race only demonstrated the desperate nature of the present West-dominated world, of which he is the role model.  All the wannabe cronies that come afterwards have not been successful in discreditting him or wiping out his beliefs, but, instead, have strived to outdo him.  But he did succeeded in giving breeding a bad name.  Are we going to let him ruin the one chance we still have to look forward to a viable future?

Human development has two major stages.  The first is evolution and the second, avolution.  In evolution, we genetically transformed from monkey to prehumans.  And in first stage of avolution we develope the human id-genes that allow us to assert ourselves as a full-fledged independent human being, rather than the prehuman that depends on higher authority, such as God, to ward off his fear and insecurity.

Avolution is a process of approach our final form.  Its second stage has to be the eternal-life gene, where the generation-lineage psyche becomes so strong that the transition from one generation to another becomes as tangible as it's transparent.  The parents will feel the children are an integral part of themselves that will live on as if they themselves would have done so.  No one would really die.

The third and final stage of avolution is the manifestation of universe continuum.  The human species recycles itself by passing down and beginning a new cycle again, with all the nature's refinements.  This conceivably could be a brand new design of a new and improved human-centered ecosystem or a transplanting to a remote planet, most plausibly in the forms of DNA.  This requires development of a strong species-lineage gene that makes the perception of universe continuum real.

During the avolution stage, we breed and inbreed ourselves.  Although this could cause undesirable genetic defects, the other side of the coin is the miracle in stored in combining the pure, but recessive, genes.  From observation of people of pure racial traits, a strong indication is that these genes contain the magic of humanity.  This is not just a trade-off, but a fulfillment of the purpose for which we exist.  As human, we are here to achieve full humanity.  This is possible only through a mutual feedback and reinforcement between genetic codings and culture.

So, the root problem with today's world may be genetic.  We may have to come up with some avolution quotient(AQ) to measure how much a person has avolved to be a full human.  A god-fearing prehuman should still be judged by EQ(evolution quotient), or even the meaningless IQ, to measure how much animal is still left in him.

What minimally can be expected in the-not-too-distance future is that machines would replace our muscle power and computer, our brain power. Humans will be left with the task of unveiling the fascination that the human experience has been designed for.  Breeding would naturally take us to our designated final human form by virtue of the inevitable fact that ours has to be an auto-self-improving design.

The challenge facing us now is to reverse the humanity-damning direction of the world.  We need to back up to an earlier and modest time from which a purposeful future could continue to fall into place naturally.
