DEATH MAKES LIFE
Culturalists believe death makes life. If there ever is a
fundamentalistic Chinese, he would be a person who looks at death as
coming home(视死如归). Risking sacrificing one's own life for a cause
is what life is all about. When death comes this way, life comes
a full circle. Therefore, to have truly lived is to be prepared
to end it when lived enough.
Expecting Nature to take away life is natural. But hanging on to
dear life, with artificial means or at other's expense, is a negative
life. Westernization is good at immunizing people from rejecting
negative lives. For example, the westernized Madame Chiang lived
in glorified shame to 105, while the re-Chinesized Iris Chang rejected
a negative life at a young age.
Some people say I write not logic, but poetry. Maybe so, this
time.
