LEVELING THE PLAYING FIELD IN THE WAR OF WORDS

After the last free-for-all slaughter that we civilly called World War II, each side has engaged in telling his story and insists that's the history.  The winners try to glorifying their noble deeds of liberation, thus permitting them to maneuver comfortably preying on the hatred and suspicion of the losers.  All the losers could do is to want to remember, but realize they have to forgive and forget.  As the West only sticks to the what and how, while the East searches for the why and why me, those nations devastated by the war always got the short end of the stick.  Many an opportunists from these war-torn nations have even managed to take ass-kissing ego trips at the expenses of the humiliation of the mass of their voiceless, impoverished fellow countrymen.

After a half century of recuperation, the world is now again embarking on a collision course.  Fortunately in the lull before the storm, a narrow window for war of words has openned up.  Unlike the last lull before the storm, this time we have learned each other's language and can do lightning fast, guts-spilling exchanges on the Internet.  But can our minds meet?  It would be a futile effort if the Western winners continue to saturate the mass media with their our-way-or-no-way propagandas.  We need to level the playing field.

The Westerners first need to understand that they are products of a survival-of-the-fittiest environment. Words such as democracy, freedom, God, law, human rights, and equality have been used in such predatory societies to keep the oppressed mass, here and abroad, in their places.  We Easterners really dont care how many trillions have been invested in their image building. The fact is they are still offensive to the ears and a threat to our peaceful existence.  They disrupt our quiet appreciation of the harmonious atmosphere that we have cultivated for thousands of years.

Thus far, charging forward behind the shields of these offensive words, the West has made the flow of propaganda a one way street.  In fact, one normally has the feeling that a Westerner or his stooge has already brain packed and mouth stuffed with these verbal ammunitions before launching their prefabricated lectures on the "backward" Asians.  Tempers flare before any sensible exchanges can take place.  The loss is the Westerner's chances to learn something that could free him from being a owner of a templated brain.

Liberalism and conservatism have bounded the Western minds.  But to an Eastern culturalist, they are mumble and jumble.  As to the multi-party political system, they are but circus acts of court jesters left over from the days of monarches.  The scums of liberalism would have stayed being repulsive until the bullying ways of conservatism takes over the stage.  In reality, a culturalist would go to war to root out the liberal scums, except for the overwhelming conservatives' bullying ways that forced him into playing terrorist first.  Such is the phenomena of our time.  The West's ignorance of its external image have thrown us all into a never ending whirlpool of misunderstanding.

Admitted, by now, I might have inflamed a temper or two.  But dont take my words for it.  Just look at  how some prominent Western leaders have been getting away with murders with these words.  Coming to mind right off the bat are the caucasian black rice lady and the compassionate muslim liberating bushame.

Upon self examination, China has also just about bored the world to death with her mystic "Chinese characteristics".  Well, being a late comer to this brain-spinning game of propaganda, what do you expect when confronted with the onslaught of the above mentioned, military-backed Western characteristics.
So, from now on, could we all just use words that we can all understand?

Ok, now the playing field is leveled and I got you on the run, let's all go back to knock each others' brains out.
