OPEN COMPUTING 

Open computing is the pooling of computing resources to maximize productivity.  The resources include not only software, but also hardware.  Since historically the large costs and efforts required to access software and maintaining hardware have handicaped productive computing, open computing promises to remove these obstacles by assembling a seamless collaboration among the participating users.

                                  
Open computing is made possible with software automation technology.  Specifically, it consists of natural language programming and software robots.  The natural language allows all the users to communicate with the computer, thus each other, and the software robots, being functional recordings of intereaction between a user and the computer, serve as repositories of knowledge and experience contributed by the users, in natural languages.  Therefore the two-prong thrusts of open computing is to bring the natural-language programming language to full capabiltiy and to use it to cumulate knowledge for all to use.
