RACIAL DISCRIMINATION OR CULTURAL CLASH? (final version, with politics
and religion addressed)
It's a thin line between racial discrimination and cultural
clash. And it's a hard choice between racism and morality.
When the bleeding-hearts of the Western liberals lump everything into
the simplistic notion of human rights, they are secretively trashing
morality and culture in favor of the rules of the jungle. Such
rules naturally lead to the justification of arms buildup to protect
the associated rights of freedom, democracy, equality, religion and all
the other survival tools for a
predatory society.
Culturally oriented people, like the Chinese and Muslims, are often
demonized for being racists while defending their culture. This
distraction
often provides a free pass for the supremacists' attitudes of the West
to run amok
in perpetrating camouflaged
discrimination and stereotyping. Adding in the self-righteousness
of the Christians, tactically poised behind superior weaponry and over
hijacked morality,
the culturalists have become easy preys in both the verbal and killing
wars.
This is one area in the struggle between the East and the West that the
East must cut its losses. And the East must be ready to pay
a high
price. The goal should be, as the Chinese saying goes, doing
everything just to save the roots.
The Easterners should first admit that they are racists. This is
necessary to preserve, at all cost, their root culture of ancestral
lineage. And
it comes in handy when defending against the liberal scum culture of
the West, that has been the roots of many cultural clashes around the
world that were conveniently condemned as racial
discriminations or ethnic conflicts. Now, the infamous term,
Chinese
characteristics, should mean just exactly that China is against human
rights, democracy, freedom, equality
and religion. When playing hardball, humility only buys you
hypocrisy.
Also, the Easterners should make clear to the West that they would
always choose culture over progress. This should be demonstrated
first through deemphasizing the capitalistic system, and finally
volunteering a unilateral demilitarization. But the whole
strategy does not have to be an all pain and no gain
proposition. Such a scorch-earth retreat would unite people of
a common culture. This provides a united front for
culturalists
against the materialists. Now, we have, at least, a 50-50 chance
of saving the world.
Chinese culture
revolves around breeding. But it's more important for us humans
to learn
there is really no such thing as being either a superior or
a inferior breed, or a race, or even a species for that matter.
There is something
here we could learn from our four-legged best friends. Dogs owe
their
survival to breeding, but no one can say which breed is
superior. And each breed seems to love being itself best.
The
world has overreacted to maddog Hitler's racist overkill. The
real problem is the
predatory nature of the modern society, which makes it much easier
to spot a racist than an oppressor. Expecting everybody to take
sides, of either on that of the liberal scums or, the
secret symbol of ultra-conservativism,
Hitler,
is giving us all a distorted perspective of the human experience.
The two-party system in Amercan democracy is an effective machine for
distortion. First, it's not "party", but "partying". The
rich and powerful are having themselves a ball in which they divide up
the turf over the mass of little people who have either the word
"liberal" or
"conservative" branded on their foreheads through saturation
propagandaing. Just looking at the kind of leaders of these
partying
parties would give you an idea of how distorted the situation is.
The last big party they called elecltion had an
alcoholic-turned-Christian with a
record losing-record in business ventures, pitting against a
Jew-turned-Catholic gigolo with a peace record that matches his war
record. How in hell are their followers even going to have time noticing anything as
trivial as races and cultures?
Politics is a santuary for human trash.
While politics brand the head, religion brands the heart. And
whereas politicians only talk the talk, religionists walk and
walk. We are all used to politicians'
broken promises, but no one can predict what a religionist going to do
next. This happens because he follows the will of somebody named
God. An
unafflicted person may laugh at politicians, but he could
only pray for mercy with the religionists. When religious
superstition takes hold of our lives, we may
all go to heaven after death, but hell can break loose when we are
alive.
Religion gives
rights to its faithfuls to tell
God to tell them what to do.
Since for one race to like another, it must like itself
first. So,
racial rivalry would always exist. This is healthy as long as
culture
steps in to prevent discrimination. Being genetic, differences in
racial favorites, such as emotion, intelligence and fun, is Nature's
way. Accepting this fact forms the basis
of a harmonious society. Harmony must allow for accommodating
such Nature's inevitables as racism, sexism and classism. Humans
may be the top dog amount living things, but we are still only guests
to Nature.
Harmony and peace, not
justice and equality, should be the goal.
Justice and equality suggest a struggle. The new message to mankind
should be that the struggle is over. The struggle is a dead end. A
blind
alley. A deception. It leads to never ending struggles. It leads to
discontent toward one's fellow men and one's own existence.
Discrimination and blacks seem to come in the same thought.
Historical mistreatment of the blacks is a curse on humanity that
people of the world must all share. A century of discrimination
needs time to heal. China has tried, and suffered, but failed,
yet persisted, in
helping with this healing process. Certain amount of culture
pre-education is probably preferred over reeducation in many of the
incidents in China regarding the black foreign students.
To avoid any unnecessary racial discrimination, China needs to set up
an equivalent TOEFL on culture for foreign students wishing to enter
Chinese universities. The
least the students need to be tested is the knowledge of the 100
culturally
prioritized Chinese characters in the proposed, yet still defunct,
universal language. Anyway, one big obstacle to cultural
understanding in the world is the Westerners' persistently unabashed
ignorance of
the Chinese language.
If there is such a thing as disposable culture, the West has it.
The Westerners have done their part in causing it all on this matter of
the blacks and need
to just keep their mouths shut whatever
the
evidences on its many unfortunate consequences. The world needs
to catch its breath. The Westerners
really should let the blacks' wound heal first, before start on the
muslims.
In dealing with races and culture, the world has no choice but to
realize
that avoiding the issues is a road to hell. Just look what
happened when America led Britain and Israel to walk out the UN's
World
Conference Against Racism one weeks before 911. And now they are
telling
us it's a matter of not whether, but when.
