RECIPROCITY
Someone once argued for reciprocity in interaction. It ignited a
burning rage deep in me. It sounded ok, but sure felt bad.
Now, let me explain why.
The guy did not know the meaning of reciprocity.
He was only trying to defend the status quo, thus justify its one
sidedness. It's like doing a flower arrangement on a pile of
poop. Past wrongs and barbarism are diluted by focusing the flaws
of the oppressed. Hipocritic liberalism and conservative
ignorance serve as mutually reinforcing decoys to the truth. The
consequence is continued conflicts, where weapons talk loudest.
It's high time to settle the following issues based on absolute
reciprocity. I'm sure the list can be extended by others in the
future. Let's show the warmongers that their problem is not cant
shoot straight, but cant hear straight.
First item is the ubiquitous business of god. When someone says:
"I believe in god", the reciprocal reply is not:"I dont believe in
god". And it's also not: "I believe myself", which is what I
often use to patronize the self-doubting soul. The absolutely
reciprocal reply should first be: "Never heard of him". Then
after some mumble jumble explanation: "The subject is offensive to
me". And finally, finding the guy is for real: "You are insane!".
